Any telecommunications worker living or working in the Detroit area or the Ann Arbor/Jackson area.

Retirees of SBC, Michigan Bell, AT&T, Western Electric or Ameritech; or any retiree over age 55, drawing a pension in one of these counties: Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Livingston, Washtenaw, Lapeer, Genessee

Any relative of a current Telcom member, or non-relative living in the same household.

Employees of Eaton Corporation, City of Southfield, Florist Transworld Deliveries (FTD), and Telcom Credit Union.

Employees of businesses belonging to the Southfield Chamber of Commerce, South Lyon chamber of Commerce, or the Greater Novi Chamber Chamber of Commerce.
- Members or employees of any organization (i.e., businesses, churches, Salvation Army Bed and Bread Program) within a 25-mile radius of any Telcom branch. The organization must provide Telcom with a letter requesting our services.
- Also eligible since the March 1, 2007 effective date of our merger with Hometown Community Credit Union:
- Persons who live, work or attend school in the cities of Commerce Township, Farmington, Farmington Hills, Highland, Keego Harbor, Lyon Township, Milford, Novi, Orchard Lake, South Lyon, Walled Lake, Waterford, West Bloomfield, White Lake, Wixom and Wolverine Lake in Oakland County, Michigan; and in the cities of Canton, Garden City, Inkster, Livonia, Northville, Plymouth, Westland, and Wayne, in Wayne.
- Also eligible since the May 1, 2007 effective date of our merger with Southeast Oakland Community Credit Union:
- People who live, work, attend school or worship in the following cities: Berkley, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Clawson, Ferndale, Franklin, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Lathrup Village, Madison Heights, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak, Royal Oak Township, Southfield, Southfield Township, and Troy.
A potential member must be qualified by ChexSystems and/or credit history evaluation before an account can be opened.
